American Literature is an opportunity to learn to writing, reading, and critical thinking by surveying culturally diverse and historically significant literature form the 1600’s to the present. Course objectives include expansion of vocabulary, increased reading comprehension, increased ability to analyze interpret and evaluate literature and to write for a variety of purposes with attention to revision and the writing process
